  • Born out of the demand for glassware and wait staff for private parties in the western suburbs with student lawyers pouring drinks around Perth
  • Hire Society commences a long-standing relationship with Breast cancer long table lunch

The previous owners Debbie & Tony Hall moved the business to Stirling Highway premises.

The company moved into a warehouse on Carrington Street. Hire Society installed a reverse nosmosis dishwasher, the first hire company in Perth to do so.

  • Deb & Chris purchased Hire Society.
  • 2009 – 2019 Leeuwin Concert – supplying all furniture, sit down for 1,000 pax
  • Hire Society was rebranded with a new website. This included an online shopping cart, making it the first of its kind in WA. They were also the first hire company to run 24-hour shifts, due to the high demand for tabletop.
  • Deb and Christopher but in a fully automated state of the art inventory control software system
  • CHOGM 2011, the Queen’s visit to Perth. Hire Society provided equipment all over Perth hosting Her Majesty.
  • Hire Society first hire company in Perth to wrap their delivery trucks in imagery and branding promoting the business. This form of moving billboard remains a valuable form of advertising for our business.
  • Moved into new showroom in a prominent location at 242 Stirling Highway.
  • Commenced the 242 Industry Collective- providing a collective working space for young business owners in the event industry.
  • Hire Society expanded into offering an extensive range of fashionable furniture. This was driven by the movement away from sit-down functions and the rise of cocktail style events. We were the first company to bring in residential and trend style furniture, rather than purely commercial pieces. 
  • Commenced annual charity dinner for Parkerville Childrens Home (Event Highlight).
  • This was the beginning of our journey in importing purpose-built furniture pieces, with our first container arriving in 2013.
  • Hire Society’s largest event to date with a semi-trailer going up North for a 1,000-person event (mining company).
  • Hire Society began milling our own linens direct for hire and bringing in more luxury options to the market, creating Perth’s largest linen range of serviettes and tablecloths.
  • Launched the largest range of catering equipment available, purposely for event hire.
  • We began our now-signature custom serviette range of premium linens in both timeless and on-trend colours.
  • Our first import of custom designed furniture modular lounge and component furniture.
  • By this point, Hire Society had grown to have a showroom and stock over three separate warehouses.
  • Rebrand and launched a new website.
  • First year of supplying packages Diner En Blanc Perth and have continued ever since.

Launched custom designed & manufacture glassware and cutlery ranges specifically for hire

  • Purpose built facility in Shenton Park
  • Largest commercial dishwasher in Perth and only double-lane washroom
  • Launch event in new showroom
  • First year participating in Bags of Dignity charity drive which continues to this day

We have the largest range of hire products in Perth, and many of our pieces are exclusively sourced.

We are the only hire company in Perth where you could order a single teaspoon; or equipment for a 600 person sit-down event, including furniture, table linen, serving ware, crockery, glassware and catering equipment, including furniture, table linen, serving ware, crockery, glassware and catering equipment.
