Dynamic Book Keeper

We are looking for a Dynamic Book Keeper to join our team. This job requires a person who understands the key drivers of a business and can work with a fast moving, quick thinking business owner. You need to want to be a part of a dynamic, fast growing business and team,  be able to take direction from management and be prepared to learn.

We require:

  • Advanced knowledge of MYOB (additional Accounting packages is desired)
  • Good knowledge of computers in general
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise as required
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the public
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good knowledge of Bookkeeping practices

Your role will include the following:

  • Complete payroll for staff each fortnight
  • Maintain payroll records for staff
  • Maintain leave forms and records for staff
  • Produce group certificates for staff at end of financial year and all other documentation required
  • Answering of telephone as required
  • Assist Customer Services team with taking client orders
  • Data entry of client orders
  • Payment of suppliers accounts as per terms of credit
  • ATO requirements for Hire Society including BAS, etc
  • Production of monthly financials and annual figures
  • Create effective procedures for efficient cashflow management
  • Recommend new strategies in regards to Bookkeeping to keep up best practice for Hire Society
  • Entry of all supplier invoices into system following approval by CSM
  • Receipt all customer payments
  • Bank received monies weekly
  • Ensure back up of financial system is completed
  • Any other duties as directed by Management
